The hotel is stunningly beautiful and set in a lovely area, surrounded by palms and lots of animals such as monkeys, iguanas, squirrels, and birds. Our room was unique and cozy with a view of the sea. Amenities like a safe, refrigerator, and tea and coffee making equipment were a nice touch. The property's location is amazing and particularly good, off the beaten track. The poolside restaurant nearby was convenient and added to the overall experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for us as it was remote, but still close to the main town. We were able to enjoy the peace and tranquility of being off the beaten track, while still having easy access to the amenities of the nearby town. The hotel itself was adorable, with charming 'A' frame cabins set in beautiful tropical gardens. The highlight of our stay was definitely the stunning seafront setting and the gorgeous pool. We spent hours lounging by the pool, enjoying the breathtaking views of the ocean. Another great aspect of this hotel was its location right by the beach. We could take long walks along the beach, collecting shells and enjoying the beauty of nature. Moreover, this hotel offered us the chance to see so much wildlife, which was a unique and unforgettable experience.

    No negatives from this place.

Our stay at the lodge was absolutely amazing. We were blown away by the stunning scenery and the abundance of wildlife around us. It was like being in our own secluded paradise. The cabinias provided the perfect amount of privacy, and we loved the unique and original feel of the place. The food at the restaurant was wonderful, although a bit pricey for ordinary travelers.

Imagine waking up to the sound of tropical birds and being just steps away from the crystal-clear waters. This secluded jungle lodge offers the perfect escape, with spacious rooms featuring beachfront views. The comfortable and well-maintained cabins allow you to immerse yourself in nature without sacrificing comfort. The friendly and attentive staff goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. You'll love starting your day with a delicious breakfast, and the pool and hammock area provide the perfect spots to relax and unwind. Don't forget to gaze at the mesmerizing stars at night, a truly unforgettable experience.

One downside to note is that the ongoing construction during our stay slightly impacted the tranquility of the surroundings.

As someone seeking an indulgent escape, Calala Lodge was the perfect spot. The young owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, with a great eye for aesthetics. The exquisite cabin we stayed in had a dramatic giant window opening up to stunning views of the jungle and sea. The pool was large and allowed for proper swimming. With fantastic sunrises and friendly staff, this was definitely the highlight of our holiday.

    Totally recommend this hotel.

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, always willing to help with any needs we had. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the local cuisine. We also appreciated the peaceful location and beautiful scenery, especially the nearby beach for a relaxing afternoon.

The rooms were not as clean as we had hoped, with some bugs and dust, and the lack of WiFi and TV was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the pool was small and seemed to be used by the public, making it less enjoyable for hotel guests.
